GATEWAY EMPOWERS PATIENTS!

Gateway physicians have issued a challenge to patients who have recently undergone screening colonoscopy! Refer a friend or family member to have a colonoscopy and YOU could save a life!

Cancer-ScreeningColon cancer is the second most common cancer killer and is largely preventable by screening colonoscopy. Persons over age 50 have a high risk of developing colon cancer and should undergo screening colonoscopy, but unfortunately only about 50% of those over 50 are actually having the potentially life-saving procedure.

The physicians and staff of Gateway Gastroenterology and the Gateway Endoscopy Center are challenging patients to refer family members and increase the number of persons over 50 undergoing screening colonoscopy. All it takes is a phone call to the office to schedule this potentially life-saving exam.
