Gateway Gastroenterology Goes International

and establishes a gastroenterology medical mission in Honduras. Dr. Jeffrey Mathews of Gateway GI has organized a medical mission to Honduras. Joining Dr. Mathews are two of his children, staff from the GI lab at St. Luke’s Hospital as well as pulmonary/critical care physicians from Barnes Hospital. Not only will they be seeing patients and treating various digestive diseases, but they are also very excited to be bringing endoscopy to the small village hospital.

So dust off your running shoes, your nicest “undies” and meet us in Forest Park! On March 23 the staff of Gateway Gastroenterology, Gateway Endoscopy Center, and St. Luke’s GI lab will be participating in the Undy 5000 which is a family-friendly, 5K run/walk that raises awareness and funds for colon cancer research and treatment. March is colon cancer awareness month and this year Gateway is “leading the charge” both in terms of team participants and fund raising.
