Invitation to Host an AOA Course
The AOA is seeking doctors with top notch offices in major metropolitan areas wishing to host an AOA course. We prefer to establish a long term arrangement, but are willing to do so on a one time basis as well.
Requirments to Host an AOA Class
- Member of the American Association of Orthodontists
- Office has open bay with 4 or more chairs made by Metalcraft, Boyd, Dome, or Dexta
- Conference room (or private reception room) with seating for 12 or more
- Experienced Assistant (paid by AOA) with skills, drive, and personality to serve as instructor for the courses
- Office is completely closed on Fridays or Saturdays
What do I do to host a course in my office?
- Call or Fax us with your Practice Name, Doctor Name, Address, Phone Number and E-mail Address.
- After intial evaluation and approval, we will send printed information, a video, and documentation.
- We need 2-4 months lead time in order to effectively market and fill the first class. Some assistance from your instructor and/or office manager will be needed.
What will be the AOA's responsibilties?
- We will provide the most complete orthodontic assisting course ever given in your area.
- We will pay at least one instructor to teach the course.
- We will bring equipment, supplies and materials to teach the course, beyond what is typically found in a quality orthodontic practice.
- We will compensate you 10% of tuition received, up to $2000, for the use of your office.
